The beginning...

On Wednesday, June 3rd, Mark Alexander suffered serious injuries in a car accident. He is at Stanford Hospital and is stabilized, but has had 6 operations so far and scheduled for more. He can't have any visitors at this time except family for 30 minutes a day. Please send your healing thoughts, love, and prayers to Mark so that he may recover quickly. Also you can donate blood at Stanford (any Type) as Mark has lost a lot.
There has been a huge outpouring of love and healing thoughts sent out to Mark, his mother Donna and father Tal. Information on ways you can help will be posted as Mark's long healing process moves along.
There is a "Mark Alexander Blood Drive" being set up through the Stanford Blood Center. More news and information will be posted here as it is made available.

  1. Hi Mark,

Just letting you know I've come to visit. The one thing to remember over the next few months is, get over any reluctance to ask for help from us - even if you can struggle through going grocery shopping or making dinner alone, doing so with help from friends makes the difference between making the accident a shadowing event in your past into an enriching of your future.

For my part, I will be happy to supply humor in copious quantities. I saw your picture and had not realized that Hobbits had Karaoke night.

  2. Is that Karaoke cover photo perfectly Mark, or what? I look forward to good times like that again as soon as possible. With all this love flowing his way, I've no doubt that it will be sooner than anyone would expect.

Hang in there buddy Mark... we're with you.
    Love
    Tom

  3. These are such great Photos. The most recent ones are from our Wedding Ceremony. Mark you look spectacular, you handsome bugger. (Still just as ha-cha as in the picture of his teens, EH?) Mark you MADE the wedding by creating the most amazing set of Cd's for each part of the Ceremony that made it so Magical. We had music wafting through the redwoods so incredibly it brought the Fairies out... and the Bubbles. With the help of Earl you pulled it off without a hitch. You had music planned from the shuttle ride in under the rays of sunshine through the trees, to the last few dancing. Rhonda even wore a DRESS and danced! IT will forever be one of the most wondrous days of our life.

This is so like you to give so much to others just to see them happy. I have a few other photos from our Civil Union Day that I will post soon.
    We love you,
    Camille and Rhonda Summers-Godfrey
